Hi. Been up at the M6 Pass from 11:00 until 15:30 today (Tuesday 16th). 3 x Typhoon (ZJ813:BL,ZJ912:AB +1), 2 x Jag T4 (XX835:EX, XX840:EY) and a sprinkling of 100 Sqdn Hawks (XX321:CE +2). ........Post the pics if I could figure out how!!!?

Upload your pics to Photobucket, you will have to register to get an account but its free and the best on the market. Once you have your pics on there just copy and paste the IMG tag, should be the 3rd option.

Hello Chris. Yep, it certainly was cold and they were from the mast area. First trip out this year for low level stuff. Hopefully first of many, now that i live in the area. I know about the M6 Pass and Thirlmere but are there any locations nearer to Walney. Often see stuff from Walney going up the Duddon Valley towards Coniston. .......maybe just another route to Thirlmere?

I'm glad you had a good day, it can be very hit and miss, there is quite a good website for low flying photography at...... www.lowfly.netThey know of quite a few spots in Cumbria and the guys in the forum are very helpful and know a lot more about this sort of stuff, but kep posting here, the piccies are great!

a a nice selection from the mast site, well done. If anyone fancies a day out on Monday 5th, there is a small party of us at this location, and the weather forcast is great.
