Gary, I really like the last 3 the stillness of the buildings mixed with the light trails gives a nice effect. You can just imagine a stormtrooper outside Yankees blasting some drunken yob with his laser gun! Karl

Gary... I think the first batch would of looked much better had you kept the car dash board in shot, to give some perspective as to whats going on
regular non camera people wont have a clue whats goin on with those cheers Chris

Thanks for the comments guys. Karl-you can get much better shots by just plonking your tripod near a road to get the kind of effect you prefer.Give it a try-use the corner of John street near the church and facing towards the new car park. You will get some nice movement in the traffic trails around the roundabout and also plenty of colour from the car park. Chris-Deliberatly didn't want to include the car interior.I was going for a more artistic kind of feel.I used a 2 second shutter speed to keep plenty of detail in the buildings but still give the impression of plenty of movement.I didn't want to make it totally obvious how the shots had been taken. The next time I will include the car interior and use a lot longer shutter speed-but that's a totally different kind of effect to what I wanted to get this time.I'm not sure which I'll prefer but thats what I love about getting out there and just messing about.Don't you just love digital.I'd never have tried 1/2 the stuff I do now in my film days. Waiting for the Christmas lights to be switched on.Should make some interesting lighting patterns.
Cheers Gary
