Hi guys After spending the morning at Thirlmere I decided to pop into Keswick on the way home.Like earlier in the morning I just couldn't see a decent photo anywhere.I think the fact that most of the Autumn colour was starting to dissapear and you had that inbetween stage where everything just looks dead.I had to make the most of the fact that I'd parked the car up so I just took some photos so I could at least say to myself that I'g given it a go. Here's a few of the ones that I took. All pretty average with not a real good one in among them. Did really like the greens in the reflection in the water on this one though.Pitty I somehow couldn't have included them in a more pleasing composition. Quite liked the way the sun was catching the leaves in this one.Really stands out against the darker water behing. Cheers Gary

I really like those apart from the last two, they dont do anything for me i'm afraid, but the rest are great.

Cheers Chris.
The last one was taken with stock photography in mind. That kind of image can sell quite well.Images that show human interaction with the landscape etc always tend to do quite well even if they aren't the most pleasing of photos visually.
Cheers Gary

Hijack away Chris.I saw them pics up on your site yesterday and was wondering when they were going to make an appearance.I'll be emailing out all the ones with you guys in sometime next week.Going to reprocess them at full size instead of the 6 x 4's that I did for the Linton threads.

Hello Guys,as I am reasonably new to digital photography can any one advise me how to get a reasonably priced outfit for aircraft shots as I have plenty of chances here at Kirkbride but never seem to have my canon 35mm outfit with me(yes I know things have moved on a bit). Please don't go into the realms of fantasy as I'm only a working lad !!I have heard that the Canon 400d is a good buy,any thoughts on this? and what size lens is the best bet.Answers on a post card please to the forum.
