Hi guys Here's a few b & w's taken at Bassenthwaite a while ago. They were all taken with the infrared camera.Even when the conditions aren't good for typical ir work I still sometimes use the camera because I like the mono stuff you can produce with it. The next picture shows how they come out of the camera.I then normally convert to mono or swap the red over to blue to get the usual blue digital infrared look. For some reason I'm actually starting to like the "red" look.Anybody else like it? Mono conversion. Cheers Gary

Gary, Not that i know much but i think on the above picture the mono effect works better in the context. the red look seems to make the picture a bit fussy or something being a winter shot and all and with the tree being bare i think it suites the mono effect. That said i think the red look would work on something else, not sure what mind!! maybe a summer shot?? Still what do i know?? Like the pictures of bassenthwaite.

I also love this type of photography... but yours put my old efforts to shame Gary
the red one Karl mentions would look better with a 'partial' colouring in my opinion.. like the foilagr=e in momo and the rest as it is Chris
