Hi Came across this at Charnock Richard service station a couple of days ago when driving down to Cardiff.Looks like some kind of earth mover but hopefully Graeme(or someone else) can enlighten me a bit more. Sorry for the quality but I only had the mobile on me and the pictures are awful-Sony K750I,not to be reccomended if you want decent photos.2 Mega pixels of total rubbish. Cheers Gary

It's the new Combat Engineering Tractor, called "Terrier", which is due for entry into Royal Engineers service next year, replacing the current Combat Engineering Tractor (CEV). Although it's twice the weight of the old CEV, it will be air-transportable in a C-17 and the new A400M. First time I've seen one other than as a photo on the manufacturer's website. Looks to be straight out of the factory - no mud or dirt at all on the tracks or the wheels. Photos were fine, Gary - easily identifiable! Next?

Looks a bit like a can opener/ bottle opener!....very tidy piece of kit though, i like to see such things gleaming, it certainly makes for a better photo finish.

Now you're asking! Haven't seen a price listed - but then again MOD(PE) don't always advertise the unit costs involved - the amounts usually include spares and other factors. Chances are they'll be expensive though.
