Brings back memories.11th June 2005.The 9 ship flypast was good but not half as good as the airfield attack that went along with it. Nice picture Chris.
Shame 11 couldn't even manage 9 jets.
I was just looking at some very similar pics the other day. While I've been off for the last week I've been learning to use Lightroom and building a database of over 100,00 pictures. You forget some of the pictures you have actually taken.Awesome piece of software by the way(version 1.2 anyway). Cheers Gary

Gary I have become 'clooged' up with pictures so today thought I would send a lot of unused pictures to that great recycle bin in the sky to obviously free up a bit of room
and dont worry those 'compromizing' pictures of you and those sheep are now deleted LOL
as for lightroom everyone speaks well about it Chris

Wish i knew about the spot at the end of the runway back in 2005, however fingers crossed when 25sq disband next year they do something fairly similar.

Chris G funny you should mention the end of the runway... because I always feel that wherever I go at Leeming, I always feel that I should be elsewhere cos they look to be giving better angles at the other end !!!!
this years family day was a case in point I parked myself at the North End of the runway and I was getting 'severe' flak from my 2 buddies that I had taken them to the 'wrong' end
and indeed everything that moved was down at the south end Grrrr any way the Lancaster came up and gave us the best 'Pass'I have ever had of it full on at a great angle - so my point is that wherever you go at Leeming it seems to be wrong - and nearly everytime someting comes along and 'saves' the day LOL
cheers Chris

Can I play too? I think I remember seeing Chris G there - IIRC, he was standing infront of me - I was parked at the back of the car park with my old Vectra 2.0. Only had the 75-300mm back then. Graeme
