More good stuff Graeme, were they winch launched or tugged up?

All were winched - the Scottish Gliding Union do have a Pawnee but it wasn't operating. The VGS were winched - they do the same across at Kirknewton. They were obtaining lift from the hill I was standing on, then going over Loch Leven for sink before repeating the process once more - great stuff and lots of opportunities for photos. You wouldn't like the climb, though! Graeme

It was only 1100 feet or so from the car park - a nice little stroll! Graeme

Have only been up twice in one - both times aero-towed out of Lands' End aerodrome, straight over the cliff edge! (Was flying with the Culdrose Gliding Club but there was too much helicopter training at Culdrose to fly there.)
