Hi Robin
Nice set of pictures, especially the canberra. Also gotta like that paint job on the Lynx.Need to get those shutter speeds down a touch on the props/rotors though.
It's nice to have another photog showing some pictures.Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Cheers Gary

Thxs Gary
I'm still having problems getting the shutter frame right...I either get it right and then focus is poor/ blurred....................I just have to keep trying
There will be more photos in the future , I make regular trips to Leeming and all the major UK air shows
Thanks for the comments

Nice piccies, shame we wont see the Sea Fury bending it's wings, when its at the Maritime Festival. the paint job on the Lynx is great and the Canberra is spot on.

Hi Rob
Try shooting at 1/160 for the helicopters and 1/320 for the props(lower if you're brave enough).I can imagine the Bigma is a bit of a dog to handhold at lower speeds so it might be worth carrying a monopod for the helicopters. Now that I've parted company with the Canon 100-400 i'll be using a monopod for the helicopters this year.I've tried handholding my Sigma 300 F2.8 with a 1.4 tcon at slow shutter speeds and lets just say I won't be doing it again.I'm ok if they are moving but if they are hovering etc-no chance.
Cheers Gary
