Managed to do something I've been wanting to do for years a couple of weeks ago.I was lucky enough to be down in Cardiff when Castle Combe staged it's only only motorbike event of the year.It would have been rude not to go.I didn't know about the event until I was in Cardiff so didn't have my usual gear with me.I was restricted to 1 cam and the 70-200 lens with a 1.4 and 2x tconverters.Would have loved to have had the 400mm with me but never mind.It did restrict some of the angles that I would have liked to shoot at though.I did work my way around the track trying as many locations as possible though. The weather was very murky(drizzle early on) with a couple of sunny spells so not really ideal conditions either
I must admit to having a real soft spot for motorbikes.Strange considering I've never actually ridden one. I've uploaded loads from the day up on my site but not too happy with a lot of them.I shot with the shutter speed too slow so I've got lots of pics with the bike sharp, rider slightly blurred etc. That's mainly due to the bumpiness of the track. Also lots with the front of the bike sharp and back of the bike slightly blurred. That's parrallax motion and I flippin hate it. All the pics were BX processed in Lightroom so apologies for any dust bunnies or poor quality. When I get some time I'll probably take all these pics back off smugmug and only upload a selective few that I really like.

A few more. It's difficult to get totally different looking shots when you are stuck on the outside of a track.I probably did 6 different locations and even though a lot of the angles look similar there are differences.
