Hello folks,
Any of you guys up at Carlisle witness the arrival of Mayday G-BLFZ just after lunch today?
It had some difficult moments over the mountains of the Lake District with at times both engines stopped!!!!!.
Understand he landed succesfully at Carlisle. Does anybody have any idea what caused the engine failures. I am assuming it wasn't a mechanical problem with the engines, since he kept restarting them. Maybe induction or fuel system?
A lucky man i think!

'Vickersfour' was acting as RT relay for Warton (hence the interest). I was so relieved to hear he had got down OK.
