Been having a look back through the older picture threads for something to do tonight - this Bombard event looked pretty good. Apart from the excellent display aircraft, I wouldn't have minded seeing the PzKpfw IVE Tiger tank (it's really a mock-up built on a Soviet T-34/85 chassis - a bit smaller than a 'real' Tiger!) and what looks like an authentic SdKfz 251/1 Schutzenpanzerwagen, although it could be one of the post-war Czech Praga or Tatra copies with the armoured roof removed. It might even have been the one featured in "Saving Private Ryan" and "Band of Brothers". The M4A1 Sherman tank looks to have a few scrapes on the turret....

and what looks like an authentic SdKfz 251/1 Schutzenpanzerwagen Bless you! Forgot the forum had those piccies on. It was a really good day its a great shame the event made a fairly large loss, fingers crossed that they have another go sometime in the not too distant future. it was good to see how close the display aircraft came dispite the wind turbines being on the same site.

Chris, there are some good shots here, I love the P-51 it's such a great aircraft, as is the Sea Fury, to be honest like most aircraft from this era. Just a shame flying ledgends is so far away and so expensive! That said Duxford is a great place to visit at any time. I'd like to see some more German aircraft though... Cheers Karl
