My favourite interceptor is the Sukhoi Su-15 Flagon-F. Was lucky enough to see one flying fifteen years ago the end of this month.... don't really have a favourite modern one although the Su-27/30/35 series looks fairly potent. An absolutely gorgeous looking aircraft - IMHO, of course! Cherskiy

Probably the old common or garden Tornado. As they are such a familiar site round these parts, and they ar a rugged looking plane. If I am out on one of the lakes, I like the way their shape changes as they manoeuvre, pulling the wings back or extending them as they turn & come head on towards you down the valley , then watching them dragging their plume of black smoke behind that big tail into the distance.

Sorry must have missed this tread.. Very difficult question a bit like trying to decide which is your favorite child So for me it depends on how i'm feeling and which i seen last!! seeing th esu-30's recently and watch a clip on youtube, www.youtube.com/watch?v=xY0t_mPv6I4, on their very special manovers it's certainly the flavour of the month. However, alway have a big grin after seeing the typoon perform!!
