In the garden today when I heard a jet aircraft which was rather low, it was old looking with a red nose and very much like this Provost. It flew over Workington area towards the Solway and maybe onwards towards I.O.M. Anyone else see it ? I am not saying it was one of these but was very much like it, wing tips the same and the front end was the same shape..

Good chance it might have been mate.My screen only showed the top half of the picture at first and my first thought was thats a bloody good spur of the moment catch.I'd only read the first sentance upto then. Chris knows more about this kind of thing than me but theres a red and white one based at Newcastle and it's seen quite often in the skies above Cumbria.

The owners of G-BVEZ are good friends of the guys at Kirkbride so i bet they had some nice fly-bys today, much like this one with the same machine last year
