Scanner Interference

Has anyone been getting a lot of crackling recently on their base scanners this last 2 weeks?
I have been getting a lot of noise through both my discone and Scanmaster on most freqs such as Ambulance,Fire,and all air Freqs?
Not sure wether its just something in my area or what i don't know but most of the time the transmissions are unreadable!

It could be just down to conditions Steve maybe static with all this nice wheather, give it a bit longer and see what happens. I am having problems with a carrier on Scot mil 282.625 which is stopping my radio from scanning,I dont want to lock this freq out because its one of the main ones to listen too.

Ok thanks Mike I will give it some time but just picking it up on those 2 antennas and they are on same pole.
But will wait a few days and see if it improves.
