This is being held on the 25th July. Once again negotiations are taking place with the RAF, RN and civilian owners, with the Windermere & Sunderland shows taking place the same weekend we are hopeful of getting a display or two, along with the odd visitor. Fingers crossed the weather gods play ball this year.

Fancy doing a few loops or rolls, then there are 20 min aerobatic flights available at this years open day in a T67 Firefly for just £60. Also the Aerostars are due to display at 15.20 for those interested :-)

Hello stranger where you been hiding? You can add Neil McCarthys JP to the KB list and possibly the Carlisle one too as it's up and about for Windermere, i'm sure John's asked for a flyby at least.

A heads up for this year, visiting aircraft will be parking on rwy23 as they did (well all 3 of them) last year. Display aircraft will park on one of the two aprons near the hangers.

Despite grey weather there were about 35-40 arrivals for this years Open Day and Fly-In, a full list will appear when i get the chance but suffice to say there was always something going on. Great displays by the Aerostars and Simon Johnstone in the Isaacs Fury, some great passes too by the Jungmann, T67M-160 and PA-32 Cherokee Six amongst others.
