Received this from Gerard Richardson
"As part of the drive to keep you all up to speed with plans, I can confirm that it is now definitely our intention to host a Major Veterans Parade on Sunday 27th June 2010. This will be a very big affair and adverts will go out in the next week or so asking veterans of all branches of all the services and conflicts as well as those still currently serving to register for participation. I will let you all know the day before publication of the first advert and would be grateful for any support you can give us in promoting this parade to friends, relatives etc. At this present time as so often in the past, we owe these people so much and this will be our way of saying we care".
I've been told the provisional plan is to have a few flying displays as part of the day, so fingers crossed this comes off.
