Three Apaches early on Wednesday morning (about 7:20). Came down from the north (Caldbeck area) and flew along Bass lake towards Keswick. I guess they were the Dutch from recent exercises at Spade and West Freugh.

I was told that yesterday (19th Nov) was a good day for aircraft around Keswick and Bassenthwaite. Very clear and blue skies seemed to have brought out the planes with reports of F15s and Typhoons going against each other with numerous passes over the area in lots of different directions.
One other thing. This site does not seem to have as much activity as in previous years. Have things moved on to twitter instead?

Over Workington one day earlier this week a C17 high up coming from Scotland. Same day over Irish Sea a large twin engined aircraft with a tornado. I guess a new RAF tanker. Did a large loop coming in from Dumfries and Galloway and then turning slowly towards Isle of Man (all very high).
