This has been confirmed as taking place from 17th-19th June, fingers crossed for some decent flying displays

Not sure wether the flying is just on the Sunday or over the weekend but there will be a display by a Westland Lynx. Wether this is AAC or Navy is also unknown at the moment.

Well the Lynx is the solo from the RN and today the BBMF have released their display programme which shows a solo Spitfire display on both the Saturday and Sunday.

For the Whitehaven Festival, flying display to be held on Sunday 19th June. There will be a solo BBMF Spitfire display at 12.30 then the display starts at 3pm, the Spitfire will be the solo flying display on the Saturday too, appearing at 15.30.

Looks like a bit of a change, RN Lynx no longer displaying and being replaced with a P-51D Mustang, i can live with that Just need to pray for a miracle with the weather now
