Certainly seems a strange decision especially with the possibility of the Falklands becoming a sensitive area again.

Just seen on the BBC website... so Ark Royal to be scrapped now, getting 2 x Carriers but at least 1 to at least one of the new carriers will be redesigned so that it can deploy normal fighter aircraft that do not need a Harrier-style vertical lift capability.

2 Carriers in 2020 with the likelyhood that 1 will be mothballed !!! and I think it will be long odds on that the budget will double or triple and 5 years late
looks like the Tornado's have a repreive till Afghanistan has a conclusion of some sort
talk of Kinloss and Lossiemouth closing with Lossiemouth becoming an Army Transit point 3.30pm and all will be revealed
the countrys naccered with all this debt
