Nice pictures Gary. I was in York on Wednesday myself.

Coincidentally I tried some long exposure shots last year, standing in exactly the spot by the fountain shown in your picture looking back towards where you seem to have been stood..

That's a good idea Rich.I'm down there again in a few weeks for another mini break.
I took this one last time.


I'm going to try a version of your shot if the conditions are favourable.Might try and see if I can frame the minster under one of those fountain arches.

I love the light trail shots what a pity the van was parked up in image 3
have not been out shooting car light trails for about 5 years
seeing these has got me in the mood again
