Hi again guys,In all the confusion yesterday I for got to give a mention to our erstwhile leader Chris. Thanks for all you do behind the scenes,i.e. designing posters, sending e-mails etc. Now you know what it's like at the sharp end. (joke) Well done mate !! John P.
The problem with the lights; - in the back of the car I have a stuffing great battery to power them, but as everything was at slow speed it didn't get charged. I think a few laps of the runway will be needed next year ;D
Hi guys, just to let you know that the fly-in at Kirkbride next year will be on the 26th July.Yes I know it is the same day as "Windermere" and Sunderland but I have been advised by the RCRO that this is the day to go for (nod nod, wink wink!) I have already spoken to Simon Johnson and he hopes the "Spitfire" will be up and flying so that should be his mount and Neil has told me he will bring the "Provost G-BVEZ".It will be in aid of the air ambulance again. So I will do my best to get something of interest for you, cheers.
