I think it is Alan Mattinson. If its the guy im thinking of his name is Alan Pattinson he is Instructor at the Carlisle Airport Flying schools. Their are apparently 5 Pilots in the JP Group at the moment.

Hi guys, yes it is Alan Pattinson but the chief whip is a guy called John Hurrel who flys the Hunter out of Exeter and is also a Hawk instuctor/test pilot from Warton. I am not sure if he is going to get here yet but I also hope to have G-BVEZ from Newcastle as well,He is hoping to to arrive a.m.This of course is all weather dependant take care !

Had a run upto Kirkbride today with Mike and had a chat with John, it would seem that Pete Metcalfe is still planning to come although maybe not in G-BIRD but another Pitts. Still three jets coming and although there might not be a Spitfire we hope to have a WWII era aircraft with us as long as the costs are reasonable. Also should have a Soko Kraguj with us on the day, it was the Yugoslavian ground attack aircraft and there are only 2 or 3 in the UK.
