From my last visit the fence may just be between the two large hangers (large reels formed a barrier across the other day. Basic plan is taildraggers on the western side of the taxi way, tricycle undercarriage types in the "car park" microlights roughly where they were last year
If any different I'm there Saturday and will make it up as I go along!
I got an email from Dakotasix when I got to work this morning. Yes there is something going on re this fence that will affect the parking arrangements. There is a contigency (plan B) that will be put into place if required (possible at short notice on Saturday) It does have one advantage as it seperates moving aircraft from the public a bit better.
Guys.not to worry if plan B goes ahead you will have a little further to walk but one of our owners is cutting a path through the corn for you virtually in line with the old tower and runway 23.Besides there is much better/safer parking there. The display a/c will be in the corner next to the normal runway entry/exit point. It will all make sense on the day. trust me !!!
Hello forumites, don't forget to say hello at Kirkbride on Sun. I will be manning the Spitfire and Messerschmitt flight simulators in one of the hangars. They are all networked up ready for some dogfighting action.
