Joined my bro at Duni yesterday,we had heard that the Reds would be transiting through Windy but did not know if it would be Duni or kirkstone ..we made the right call! Weather was god awful wind rain and grey perfect!!! but it held for the Reds and closed in just after. But it was worth it.

Another summers day From 1100-1630 sunshine and showers till 1300 then sunshine and gusts! Just after 1100 an MC130 went over high, around 1300 i was starting to feel ill so i decided to leave just as an F3 came through so a mad dash to get cam out of bag to just capture it. Later on 2 Tucano's and an Army Gazelle. Will be at Cad on Monday and Warton Tuesday.

Weds up at Tebay and was joined by Paul from Grimsby,a pair of Leeming Hawks,1 Single and 1 High a pair of Naval Harriers and an F3 which i had a prob with lens as shooting it,its an old sigma 100-300 which i managed to get going some weeks ago after it was given to me,most of the time it plays ball but not at that moment! i got it working for the rest! Today at Duni nothing in the morning, but in the afternoon on the West side they came thru, 2 Leeming Hawk singletons,BAES/RSAF Tornado and a very rare Army Defender AL1 ZG 996,a Hawk over Grasmere at 1615 but went aroundHelm Crag and not thru Duni.

Hi Pat what ive found is that you never know what your going to get or what time if anything and even in great weather, the times this year ive been up in garbage weather and they have come through! I suppose its part of the appeal.Aircraft can be booked into the system but may not show. Here are links to help with other info www.lowfly.net/www.lfa17.org/

Was at Tebay Monday 1100-1700, 1 Tuc the weather was pants constant drizzle and fog. At Duni Thursday sunny for the most part all the action from lunchtime till 1330 1 GR4 3 HARRIER'S 1 HAWK and 6 paragliders!!!!! made the mistake of thinking that was it and got into car at 1710.....3 Tonka's!!!! too late, i understand 2 more came thru at 1752! I later found out the Air Ambo was out for 1 off the PG's and that may have xplained the lull in traffic from 1330-1710.Will be up Duni Tues, and half day's Wed and Thurs as well as keeping an eye on EX HAWSERS LINK in and around morecambe bay Mon and friday's

Monday Oct 12th at Duni 1030-1715,nice mostly sunny day on the Raise, did not have to wait to long 1037 a pair of Tonka GR4's the rest of the trade included 1 Warton Hawk,a single GR4,1 Tucano 1 Harrier T12 and a Two ship from 100sqn Leeming.I didnt feel the need to change sides as although mostly sunny there where scattered clouds and at 4pm both sides where dark so when the Harrier and Hawk two ship's came through had no choice but highISO. Will be up Duni again on Thursday.
