Seems that way chris! Yesterday at duni got there 1030 first up was AAC Lynx from Thirlmere to Grasmere, around oneish the first of 3 Tucano's,quickly followed by a 2sqn Tonka which i screwed up again! Left at 1545 thinking that was it when the 3rd tucano came! 1620 driving through Ambleside a Hawk went over typical!!! Sunny at times but very cold could hardly hold the camera so did not get any decent shots well thats my excuse

Hi Bardsea
Any sign of those big black bags on Dunmail yet.I was out taking landscape stuff on Wednesday and could here quite a bit of heli activity without actually seing anything.I was wondering if they were stone lifting again. On a side note there was a 13 SQDN Tonka through Thirlmere at 0940 and later saw an Hawk at 1500 hrs over Derwent Water. In the area all day and saw bugger all else.
Cheers Gary

I did hear banging sounds like something being dropped but sounded like metal, thought it might be from a farm by Thirlmere.
