Hi Chris - is there a Notam for the parasenders / gliders - are they in the area for long ? Will they spoil my 2 weeks holiday in ~Keswick by restricting flying ? Thanks Pete

Hi Pete, if the Keswick flying club are in the area; IE; paragliding, gliding or whatever else they do, then unfortunatley low flying through the centre of the Lakes IE; Thirmere, Dunmail Raise and so on will be NOTAMED and no flying by RAF aircraft types will takeplace through these areas. What will happen is, for example, the RAF will look for alternative routes through the LFA 17 area, IE; West Lakes; Penrith area ETC. Hope this helps.
