So guys next monday is 'low level day' are any of you out and about and if so where? I'm probably going to Hause point (recommended by Dave Allen) on Thirlmere, no climbing and half decent photo ops.

If the weather's good and I can get the day off, it'll be Dunmail East in the morning and Sippling Crag in the afternoon. I always thought the Hawse Point loation was the crag away above the road at the bend - clearly you're sticking closer to the lake, I take it?

Chris-get the boots on and get climbing. To guarantee everything you have to go to Dunmail.I was down at Thirlmere last year and missed quite a few things that went down St Johns in the Vale.If you really don't want to climb goto Station Coppice car park and do the 2 minute climb onto the large rock by the car park. You will get some good shots from there in the morning and there is no easier place to get decent low level pictures.Honestly, the climb will take 2 mins max. Make sure you stay late. There were still Tonkas coming through at 7.30pm last year.

It only happens once a year, weather is looking great, fingers crossed for some decent movements. Last year had something like 14 Tornado GR4s alone plus about 6 Hawks, 6 Tucanos and a few eagles i seem to remember. However the other half took me shopping round Workington, got in saw the movements list and was not amused.
