That looks smart. We are staying in Lincolnshire for a couple of weeks, before long and will be visiting Coningsby more than once I'd say. Hope we see it.
Is it still going to be flying? I thought they wee all out of service now.

It will be the end of next month when I am there, so it looks like I'll miss it.
What will happen to all the RAF Jaguars then?

Going to RAF Cosford as their last resting place, hopefully though the painted up ones will become gate guards somewhere.

are there any other European air forces still going to be using them using the Jaguar type, or any where else for that matter?
I wonder what the chances of any of them being bought and flown privately for air shows and such like would be. Like the other ex military stuff such as Hawker Hunters, Meteors and Sea Vixen etc.

I think the French still have a couple of squadrons and the Indians have some too. As for them being operated on the Airshow circuit i dont think it will happen as the CAA are not to keen on afterburning aircraft on the airshow circuit. There were so many rules and regulations to comply with to get the Sea Vixen airborne.

So it looks like the only chance to see one flying again would be a visiting foreign one. Other than that, they will just be museum pieces?
