Anyone any ideas on where the 771 Sqdn Sea King HU5 i saw northbound along Thirlmere at 16:30 today was off to? It was XV670 coded 17. Guess Prestwick is favourite?
Also this afternoon a 13 Sqdn GR4A ZG705 coded 118 around 16:00 seen at the same location.

I Have no idea where the Seaking was going, but I was out on Derwent Water fishing, and he passed to the North of Keswick and headed off up towards Bassenthwaite!
We saw the Tornado too I suspect, the time & direction he came from was about right, and he was nearly upside down as he made a right turn directly above us and descended toward Bassenthwaite.

Thanks for your reply Rich. It did go to Prestwick, found it on the movements page of www.egpk.vze.com/Think the GR4 was off to one of the weapons ranges as it was carrying practice bombs. Cheers Shaun Connor
