Ok thanks very much to Poison for that. I take it that will be the freq for Refuelling/mil activity then? Thought they would be on HF.

Would just like to add that despite rumours on other forums that the Apaches are flying on Saturday they will NOT be flying. This comes from the guard at the airfield who informed me they were all 'out on the town'. However there will be activity every day next week and should be leaving late on Thursday.

Ihad a nice ,if wet, visit on 21 st. I logged ZJ173..182..223..226 going out on what I gathered was the second sortie of the day at 1110 plus, returning soon after 1205. Third sortie which included Stalker 1-2, out at around 1300. Four a/c I later watched at Spadeadam, interesting but not much activity. I was told by one of the officers that there would be a changeover for next week which may occur this weekend.
Cheers!

and now regarding a changeover, has anyone been up there to obtain information as to if there is a new number on any of the Apaches ? Army Air 317 came north this morning heading for Carlisle.
Cheers!

Hi Folks, Here's a few I took today on a wild and windy A689 ZJ 184 flew a mission to Spade as Stalker 1 whilst I was there. All 5 aircraft had been loaded with Hellfire missile before I left. Keith Marshall Kirkcudbright groups.yahoo.com/group/scottish_mil/

Hi Mike,
There is only one field between the A689 and the aircraft. If you walk through the field you will be able to get to the fence that you can see in the pics.

[dont know what happened to the other two. ]
two went south overhead Linton on Fri 23rd Feb.
one, or two, came north on Mon 26th.
one reported as being ZJ171. I often wonder if one doesn't log the number, how does one know if you have photographed it before ? Lent..
