Hi guys
Last year was a bit of a stinker weather wise for the airshows and photography.I sometimes wish I wasn't into the photography then I wouldn't get so cheesed off when the weather is poor.I think all photograpers get that depressed feeling on the day of an airshow and they take a look outside and see poor weather.
Anyway.I got some cracking shots at RIAT on the Sunday last year but the weather was pants.Normally I just process them and thats it.
I always wonder if it's worth spending some time in Photoshop with the pictures and really try and make something out of them.Unfortunatly I never seem to have the time.
Here's one I've just had a play with.Taken at RIAT last year in pants conditions. What do you reckon-just take what you've got or spend the time trying to improve the picture? Is the final results really worth the time and effort?
Not the sharpest picture in the world but one I just picked out at random to play with.Only working from a very small jpeg so the quality would be better on a full size proper file.
Original-
Given a faint blue computer generated sky.
Added a previosly taken sky.
Gone for the "in your face" approach on this one.Only showing this one small because the quality is pretty ropey when viewed larger from working on such a small file.
Worth the effort for maybe those exotic aircraft?
Not sure if I think so.Any comments/thoughts/ideas.
Cheers
Gary
p.s feel free to blag the original if you want to add your own ideas to the picture.
